The annual report on Exchange Arrangements and Exchange Restrictions has been published annually by the IMF since 1950. It draws on information available to the IMF from a number of sources, including that provided in the course of official visits to member countries , and it has been prepared in close consultation with national authorities.
The Repot provides a detailed description of the exchange and thade systems of individual member countries, including the nonmetropolitan territory of Hong Kong, for which the UK has accepted the IMF`s Articles of Agreement, and Aruba and the Netherlands Antilles, for which the Kingdom of the Netherlands has accepted the IMF`s Articles of Agreement. In general the description relates to the exchange and trade systems as of the end of 1992, but appropriate refference is made to significant developments that took place in early 1993.
