Sudhir Rajkumar is head of the pension advisory program at the World Bank Treasury. He leads advisory activities for public pension funds and other multi-asset class investors seeking to build global investment operations, and has served as a senior advisor to several such funds and institutions. During 23 years in global investments, Mr. Rajkumar has managed various asset portfolios of the World Bank Group, external clients, and World Bank pension funds; formulated asset allocation and investment strategy; hired and managed external investment managers; and led teams originating and executing private debt and equity transactions as well as corporate finance and privatization mandates in emerging markets in Asia and Europe (with the International Finance Corporation).
Mr. Rajkumar holds an MBA from University of Chicago, a M.Sc. in economics from the London School of Economics, a B.Sc. in engineering from University of Delhi, and a CFA charter. He serves on the Advisory Committee on Investments of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations, and served on the Investment Committee of the UN World Food Programme from 2004–10.
