This volume looks at recent findings of current sociological research into changes in the socio-spatial organisation of everyday life and the territorial administration that directly affects it. The study analyses, the macrosocial context of local development, and examines in detail how local government reform has progressed in the Republic of Slovenia. In particular, there is a comprehensive analysis of the reform experiences of one of Slovenia`s municipalities, the City of Koper (Capodistria).
