This book aims to prove that economic prosperity does not conflict with healthy environment. On the contrary, a prosperous economy and a healthy environment are two sides of the same coin. As only free economy can be a prosperous economy, only a free economy assures a healthy environment.

Contrary to the constant barrage of doomslay newspaper and television stories, the data clearly show that the prospect of the Malthusian nightmare is growing steadily more remote. The natural limits of what the earth can support are steadily receding, not advacing.
