This unit introduces you to joining the letters together to create small words, much in the way young children learn to form words in the very beginning. It explains how to indicate that the word is a proper noun, and explains removing unnecessary and silent letters. It then introduces the notion of special outlines - shorter ways of writing words by using only one or two letters."
